What an exciting 1st quarter we have experienced! We received fantastic news just recently…..Kathy Starnick successfully led our chapter to earning the 2002 Superior Merit Award from National SHRM. Great job Kathy and all that contributed to the many efforts that allow us to accomplish this! 

Thank you to all of our members that offered program ideas at our January meeting. Cathy has done a great job of incorporating your requests into the 2003 program schedule. Be sure to check out our chapter website to view the upcoming meeting speaker list.

Our Chapter agreed to be a co-sponsor for the Panhandle Job Fair on April 17, 2003. Members of our chapter volunteered to assist job seekers in several aspects, including resume writing, appropriate grooming for an interview and effective interviewing techniques. We also utilized this opportunity to share information regarding the benefits of both local chapter and national SHRM membership.

Thanks to Amy Oswalt, our chapter website now offers on-line registration for our general meetings. Be sure to check out this simplified process!! Thanks to Lenore Wilton and Jeni Acker for implementing “electronic” meeting notices for our chapter. We hope this proves to be a convenience for all of our members.
