HR Florida, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management seeks candidates who represent “the best” in the human resource management profession. They are strategic business partners--individuals who serve as role models for the profession, who are leaders rather than followers, who set standards for others and the profession, and who apply their professional expertise outside of their organization. Please note that the evaluation and judging process is best served with a clear, complete and concise compilation of requested information.
I. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ACHIEVEMENTS
A. Describe the overall contribution you have made to benefit your employer, particularly highlighting two successful, outstanding approaches, innovations and creative ideas within the last three years that have applied or do apply to human resource management situations. In addition, describe how you have become a strategic business partner with senior management within your organization.
B. What are the most significant contributions you have made to the human resource management field? Describe the scope and nature of these contributions.
II. PROFESSIONAL/COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP ACHIEVEMENTS
Describe the overall contributions you have made by contributing your HR expertise or services to professional organizations such as SHRM or business roundtables. Please highlight one or two particular contributions.
Describe volunteer leadership roles you have performed in the community -- local, regional, national or international in scope. This section would include active participation in business, civic and/or charitable organizations, and would reflect the dedication of personal time, personal resources or personal expertise in helping to better the community at whatever level.
III. PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES
Provide the names, addresses and daytime phone numbers of three professional references, they might be members of management from your place of
employment, members of professional organizations, management representatives from the community, etc. Please designate at least one reference who can attest to your ethical standards and conduct.
IV. PROFESSIONAL RESUME
Attach a copy of your professional resume or curriculum vitae. It should include jobs held, education, honors and awards, professional affiliations and activities, civic and community organizations and activities, published works and other factual data you deem appropriate. |
