mitment to: provide continued information on the benefits of National SHRM mebership; support school-to-work initiatives in the county; develop a student members association; AND, become more involved in the legislative process and demonstrate that HR Professionals in Florida really care about the their profession. Our goal is to "Help Shape Better Employment Laws" by making our voices heard.

It is important to have the support of every member of SHRM/ECC to accomplish these goals. You joined the organization to get the most out of the time you spend at meetings and have the opportunity to network with other HR professionals.

Volunteer to work on a committee, provide assistance to the organization and mebers when you can and ENJOY being a member of the Emerald Cost Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Members of our Chapter donated toys to the Boys and Girls Club of Okaloosa County, Inc. at Christmas this year. The letter of appreciation we received from the boys and girls is pictured here for all to appreciate.
