The Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM) Emerald Coast Chapter is an organization comprised of human resource
professionals in the Fort Walton Beach area. Recognized as a
Superior Merit or Merit Chapter every year since its inception, the
Emerald Coast Chapter is a top-notch organization with an abundance
of benefits to offer its members. The SHRM gives them an opportunity to grow
professionally in their positions, network with others, share best practices, and attend
exciting conferences and seminars related to the Human
Resources field. The members also participate in the exchange of current job
postings and resumes received, which saves their organizations recruiting time and money.

SHRM Partnering with Jobs Plus
SHRM in partnership with Jobs Plus is putting on a two hour class designed for Anyone managing a workforce titled "Human Resources 101, Paving the
Road for a Successful Human Resources Department". There will be four of our very own SHRM members speaking on the issues of labor law, staffing,
OSHA and management best practices. It will be held on Tuesday May 13th from 5 pm to 7pm at the Jobs Plus on Racetrack Road. Call Michelle at
